Upload tutorial
In order to upload a video, you must first become a member. Not only will this enable you to upload your own videos it will also give you access to more advanced features such as the ability to post your own video recipes, comment on others and make use of exciting features such as the My Cookbook application. To become a member, all you have to do is;
1. Click on where it says ‘You are not logged in’

3. When you have entered your required details then press ‘I accept and register’
4. When you have successfully become a member of www.eatthechef.com just simply log into your account and you should see this page. Just click anywhere you see the words ‘Upload a Recipe’
5. When you have entered all the correct details about your recipe and the video, make sure you read and understand our terms and conditions then press ‘Submit your recipe’
6. When you have reached our ‘Thank You!’ page, this means we have received your recipe and will email you as soon as your video has been approved and placed live.
How to physically upload:
Most cameras will come with software to allow you to transfer files onto your computer. When the camera is attached to the computer through either USB or Fire wire cable, you can easily copy over the movie file(s). Or if you can use the memory card (usually SD) from the camera in your computer, that will work as well.
For mobile phones, follow your handset instructions for uploading or copying media files onto a computer. You may need to first install the software that came with your phone.
Once you have located where you have saved the file on your computer and are able to play it, either make a note or copy it to your desktop.
When you come to selecting the video on our upload page, simply click browse and double click the video file you wish to upload.
