To ensure students are safe and secure any video content which is uploaded during this time will need to be approved by a member of staff before it goes live – even then videos will only be visible to the members of your school and is inaccessible to the public.


Sign up by Friday June 25th and your school will be entered into a draw for Simon to come to your school and give a special presentation for your Year 8 students!

School Cooks Competition

From the 1st December, students will be given the opportunity to put the ideas and skills they have developed to use and create a video of themselves cooking a dish – just like a TV chef.

Your school will hold an internal competition where students can vote to decide on one video that best represents your school and shows awareness of all the skills taught during the PSHE lessons. The winner will be presented with a certificate signed by Simon Rimmer.

This video can then be entered into the regional competition. Posters, press releases, flyers and emails will be available to download so you can promote your school’s video entry as much as possible. Voting will close on Friday February 11th and the school with the most votes in their region will be entered into the grand final.

The winning young chef from each of the six regions in the UK will then be entered into the national final to take place in July 2011 – winner to be chosen by Simon Rimmer.
