Hi Guys,

Welcome to eat the chef - THE online community for foodies. At eat the chef our aim is to create the worlds largest compendium of video recipes from the humble beans on toast to the likes of a bird in a bird in a bird. I have set the ball rolling with some of my own videos, but I want to see what you are cooking? What regional dish do you cook for your family? Do you have a recipe that you think is the best in the world? Students, what great budget meals are you producing?

When I first got involved with eat the chef the idea was always that the site would be made by the people for the people, and that hasn’t changed. It’s up to you to build this video library of recipes for people like you to enjoy them and reciprocate. Eat the chef is for everyone; from people learning to cook to it being a platform for future telly chefs.

We will be running competitions every month, and I will be regularly checking the site for new videos and if someone uploads an outstanding vid (in my opinion) I’ll treat you to meal at one of my restaurants. Keep those videos coming in, you know it makes sense!
